Have you have ever imagined that how easy it would be search for the useful information right from your start menu. Here is a short and simple tweak that has been offered in the Windows 7. This search feature will greatly improve the navigation in your PC and you will get faster and better results on it.
HOW TO SEARCH THE INTERNET FROM WINDOWS 7 START MENU.




  1. This trick is based on the group policy editing and will not work on the Home editions of the Windows 7. To open the group policy editor. Click on the Start menu and type in “gpedit.msc” (without quotes) in the search box and press Enter.

  2. When the editor starts point to the User Configuration and then click on theAdministrative Templates, then Start Menu and finally Taskbar. On the right hand side pane select Add Search Internet link to the Start Menu.

  3. In the follow up screen, select the Enable radio button and finally click OK to exit out of the Group Policy Editor.

  4. A search option will be placed on your Start menu. Simply search for any topic by typing it in the box.
