Facebook Desktop does the following tasks-

To install Facebook Desktop do the following-
- Go to Facebook Desktop.com
- Click Launch Facebook Desktop (this will install adobe air also). Or Download it from Here(this will not install adobe air, download it from the link above)
- After Adobe Air is installed the application installation starts.
- Click Install and Continue, Accept the License Agreement.
- The Installation has completed successfully
Setup The Application-

- When the Installation is finished the following pop-up window comes up.
- Enter your facebook credentials and log in.
- Allow the application to connect to Facebook.
- Now the Application will minimize as a System tray Icon in the Notification Area and will alert you of New Notifications and Updates.
